This was postponed from October: Rob and Melani will share their passion for the work of St. Vincent de Paul and their Urban Farm. Using permaculture and chemical-free methods, they grow and harvest hundreds of pounds of fresh produce every week and shared with families. Guests will learn about innovative farming practices such as aquaponics, water reclamation, and composting that are happening in the middle of downtown Phoenix and will be able to leave their dreams and wishes for the farm on the Tree of Hope. Over lunch we will hear from ta range of speakers on "Farm to Table", Farm programs and partnerships and the importance of this farm and St. Vincent de Paul to the community. The Phoenix Symphony will join us with an ensemble, and guests will enjoy a healthy, delicious lunch with produce harvested from the Farm.
